March. It comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We're all looking forward to some nicer weather here in Calhoun County, but are you also prepared for that inclement weather that we usually get in the spring months? Thunderstorms, wind, tornadoes. We're all familiar. And what about that pollen?? Spring is beautiful but also unpredictable here in Alabama.

We're all hoping to get outside more this month, so maybe we'll see you out on the Ladiga Trail, walking or biking, right through Piedmont and Jacksonville or the beautiful wooded areas from the AL/GA state line to Weaver. Or maybe you're a hiker. The Pinhoti trail is nearby and you'll find some majestic views from Cheaha State Park.
